1927 Rolls Razor Kit

Story about this item

This is the only thing I inherited from my father who passed away in 1976. I was 12 years old. My father was a collector of curious items and was often to be seen at The Sheriffs Auctions, held of Dame Street opposite Dublin Castle. The item is a 1927 Rolls Razor kit. Rolls Razor Limited was a British company known for its safety razor but later produced an ‘affordable’ twin tub washing machine. The kit, probably purchased in the 1960s, contains a re-usable safety razor, a sharpening stone and a strop to maintain the blade edge.
