Séanna Walsh will explore the story of James Connolly, the pioneering Trade Unionist, Republican leader and iconic socialist. From his birth in Edinburgh to Irish parents, through to his death in Dublin in 1916, this fascinating talk will delve into Connolly’s role as a pioneer of the early trade union movement, his politics and the impact he has had on the history of Ireland.
